How to use Pokémon Emerald cheats with Visual Boy Advance
It’s worth noting that it’s possible to make use of cheat codes even when playing via an emulator.
To do so, simply go to the Visual Boy Advance emulator and input Gameshark/ Action Replay Codes:
- Go to the VBA emulator and open it
- Click on the File, then select Open, followed by Pokémon Emerald ROM
- At the start of the game, click on Cheats followed by the VBA menu Cheat List
- Click on Gameshark
- Input your codes and describe them properly to help manage your cheats
- Click on OK two times to get back to the cheat-enabled game.
How to use Pokémon Emerald cheats with My Boy Emulator
If you want to activate the My Boy emulator cheat codes and you’re playing on an Android device:
- Open your My Boy emulator so you can input the Pokémon Emerald ROM
- Click on the hamburger icon to Open the My Boy menu
- Click on Cheats
- Click on New Cheat
- Click on the Cheat name and write it down
- Click on OK and get back to the cheat-enabled game
