Borderlanders rejoice! Shift codes are back and better than ever before in version 3, and this time, they’re designed to give you access to in-game rewards, the likes of which you’ve never seen before.
The Borderlands 3 game now has several additions of Shift codes courtesy of Gearbox, the game creator. All you have to do is go to the Gearbox official site and input a 25-digit code (it’s long, we know). In exchange, you’ll get a golden key which gives you access to a wide array of useful gifts including a special chest located in Sanctuary, as well as a gun.
You might also get a new and shiny object of immense rarity that’ll give you a leg-up in the game. It all depends on how lucky you are. The best part is that these free keys are always circulating and easy to find if you know where to look.

Limited-time Borderlands 3 Shift codes
As the name implies, Borderlands 3 limited-time Shift codes come with an expiry date, which we’ve included.

What are Shift codes?
There are mainly two kinds of Shift codes – Cosmetics and Golden keys.
Cosmetics: Borderlands 3 vault hunters can get access to special skins courtesy of certain Shift codes. Previously you could only access these during special events.
Golden keys: Golden keys are very special because they give the player access to a chest that contains a unique item, such as a gun. Suffice it to say, there’s always something to look forward to in a Golden key, and the best part is that Shift codes often give you access to a number of them. It has been compared to playing a free slot machine with the added benefit of getting a free special item.
How do I redeem Borderlands 3 Shift codes?
Online: To redeem these shift codes, simply visit the shift.gearboxsoftware.com website and input your 25-digit Shift code. Also, make sure to connect to your Epic Games store or any relevant console account.
In-game: Well, all you have to do is visit the main menu in the game and click on ‘social.’ This will take you to the Shift code section, which allows you to enter your special codes. You’ll know that you’ve successfully redeemed your code when you see a small tick appear on the screen.
